TRIO Expands Footprint with New West Coast Office & Industry Veteran Hire
Award-winning interior designer Ericka Moody to lead TRIO’s West Coast operations.
TRIO, one of the fastest-growing design and visual merchandising firms in the nation, today announced it has hired renowned interior designer Ericka Moody as Regional Vice President. Based in San Diego, Moody will oversee TRIO’s new West Coast office, allowing the firm to more effectively serve its existing client base while expanding its market-driven design offerings in the rapidly growing residential, multifamily and hospitality markets in California.
“TRIO is disrupting the way we think about interior design and visual merchandising. From their unique market-driven approach that bridges the gap between sales, marketing and great design to the forward-thinking way they’re using technology to transform the design process, TRIO is committed to delivering more for their clients. I’m excited to join some of the industry’s best designers and eager to hit the ground running with our strong West Coast roster.”
-Ericka Moody, Regional Vice President at TRIO
Moody joins TRIO from Design Line Interiors, where she most recently served as the firm’s president. A 30-year veteran of the interior design industry, she has overseen hundreds of successful national and international projects in partnership with top builders and developers, earning dozens of national awards in the process. Drawing on her background in model homes, sales offices, hospitality and luxury residential design, Moody will be responsible for leading a creative team, overseeing business development and managing business operations out of TRIO’s West Coast office.
“Opening a dedicated West Coast office is an intentional next step in TRIO’s evolution as we’ve expanded our work in California significantly over the last several years,” said Angela Harris, CEO and Principal at TRIO. “Ericka has earned a stellar reputation for helping builders and developers achieve their sales and leasing goals by delivering creative design solutions backed by expert project management. With her leadership, we’re confident we’ll be able to grow our business while continuing to offer the high level of service, design expertise and market insights our clients have come to expect from TRIO.”
Late last year, TRIO acquired Denver-based Design Lines, Inc., an interior design firm specializing in model homes, apartment communities, clubhouses, and sales centers. TRIO has since doubled in size, offering clients more comprehensive services, resources and expertise, as well as greater national reach and deeper market insights.
TRIO has completed dozens of design projects in California over the last several years, including work for Touchstone Communities, Shea Homes, Rancho Mission Viejo, and Simpson Property Group. The firm plans to grow its West Coast office with additional hires over the coming weeks and months.
